"Ultimately, I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and no one can tell it quite like you can. Thank you for your ongoing support as I continue to share mine.
Kate's affinity for poetry and short story writing has culminated in the publication of four books that authentically explore the complexities of love and loss, as well as the trauma of childhood abuse and sexual assault. Her first book is titled: "In The Solemn Hours - A Collection of Poems, Sonnets and Prose From The Heart," and it is available for purchase at Barnes and Noble and on Kindle via Amazon, while another, "My Little Book of Truths," can be found in paperback format. For fans of digital reading, Ivory In June" Letters from Kate, - a poignant compilation of poetry - can be accessed via Amazon Kindle. My most recent publication, "Broken Ballet," is available on Amazon, kindle, and features autobiographical short stories and poetry that grapple with topics as sensitive and emotionally charged as the aftermath of childhood trauma and sexual abuse. The themes in this book delve into the painful reality of dysfunctional relationships, in which victims of abuse may not feel empowered to voice their opinions or experiences. As a survivor of these trauma in her words she says "I write in the hopes of encouraging others to share their own stories and break the cycles of silence that so often perpetuate this kind of violence.
